Warranty Statement
OPTiX NANO PPF Warranty
The OPTiX NANO PPF warranty applies to all ranges of Paint Protection Film (excluding accessories) provided the product is used, handled, and installed as per guidelines. The warranty begins on the purchase date of your PPF installation (with the installer invoice, roll number, and vehicle identification number (VIN) required as proof). It is your responsibility to verify and ensure the suitability of any warranty details regarding the specific product, application, usage, and care of your OPTiX NANO PPF.
What is considered an acceptable warranty claim?
OPTiX NANO PPF covers defects such as:
- Cracking
- Yellowing
- Discolouration (caused by defects in the film or its manufacturing process, not by external contaminants)
- Delamination
- Bubbling (Note: bubbling caused by manufacturing defects inside the film is covered. Bubbling caused from improper application or conditions beneath the film is not a manufacturing fault and is not covered by this warranty.)
The following are NOT covered by the warranty:
- Installation of products with known or visible manufacturing defects. It is the installer’s responsibility to inspect the items for defects prior to installation.
- Installer errors, including improper installation techniques or failure to properly prepare the surface, are not covered under this warranty. Any issues caused by installation mistakes are the responsibility of the installer.
- Use of improper cleaning products or methods.
- Failure to follow OPTiX NANO PPF guidelines or recommendations.
- Incorrect washing procedures, including the use of automated car washes or harmful cleaning methods/products.
- Normal wear and tear: It is expected that, edges and corners may begin to lift. This is considered normal wear and tear, and in many cases, it is not repairable and does not qualify as a warranty issue.
- Staining caused by external contaminants such as bird droppings, tree sap, fuel spills, etc., is not covered under this warranty.
